Monster Army Dominates 2017 Fontana Winter Series #1

The 2017 Fontana Winter Series kicked off this past weekend in Fontana, CA. Some of the best riders from around the Region come to race against the best, as this place has been known to foster some of the best talents out of Southern California, including many successful pros & Juniors racing on the world cup circuit today. Due to its variation in terrain, courses are never the same race to race and always bring a new challenge to the table, making these tracks unpredictable and challenging, yet fun and exciting.

Monster Army athletes came out the gate swinging as they took home Top Finishes across the board. Captains Bruce Klein (Pro) and Steven Walton (Junior) are both aboard new rides for 2017 and will be major threats to the field. They proved it by taking the win in Pro and junior Downhill Categories. Blake Motley had a strong finish taking 6th place. Travis Claypool took home 4th, Dante Silva with 6th and Drake Barron with 7th in the Junior category. Caleb Horan also finished 14th in the "Expert19-29" class.

Our grom riders came out firing with Kaden Pankow Taking the win by 6 seconds in the "Open Jr. Men 14&under" class, followed by Ryan McGarrity in 3rd and Nathan Luna in 8th.
