Monster Army claims 5 medals at the Seven Springs Rev Tour

Monster Army athletes took charge of the Rev Tour at Seven Springs resort taking home a total of 5 podium medals. Major Birk Irving started the competition off strong in ski halfpipe claiming the first gold of competition and setting the pace for the rest of the athletes. His teammate Caroline Claire took home a silver medal in ladies ski halfpipe and concluded day 1 of the Rev Tour. Day 2 consisted of ski slopestyle with 7 monster army athletes all competing for the gold. Caroline Claire started the day off by taking home the silver medal in ladies slopestyle and set the bar high for the men. Congratulations to all the men in slopestyle for making finals, but it was young Birk Irving with the gold once again. At 14 years of age Birk dominated the course with his clean rails and massive double flips on the jumps. Birk was followed up by teammate Freddy Brideweser taking home the bronze medal and just missing the podium was Carson Kerr in 4th. Fellow teammates Carson Lehouillier ended his day in 9th place, Ryan Mcelmon in 10th place and Alexander Hall in 14th.

Day 3 and 4 consisted of snowboard halfpipe and snowboard slopestyle. With brutal conditions and freezing temperatures the snowboarders had to overcome mother nature and still impress the judges. Jenise Spiteri just missed the finals by one spot in the ladies halfpipe and that concluded the day for halfpipe. On the last day of competition the men and women took the slopestyle course with the worst weather conditions of the trip. The ladies started the day off just trying to make it down the course with heavy winds and very poor visibility. Every girl deserves respect for making it through the course in the worst conditions of the event. Major Kirra Kotsenburg ended the day in respected 4th spot, with fellow teammates Taelor Mattingley in 7th and Hailee Mattingley in 16th. The newest member of the Monster Army Chris Corning ended the day with a bronze medal in the mens slopestyle and made the grand total medal count to 5. Next up is the Grand Prix and Rev Tour in Mammoth Mountain, CA. Look for the Monster Army team to continue the medal count!
