WHO INFLUENCED YOU AND WHY?
My friends down the street were on bikes and I started riding with them. I was having a lot of problems in school, I was very frustrated and when I got on my bike I felt better about myself and it would take the anger away.
WHAT/WHO INSPIRED YOU TO RIDE? When I started riding my dad would tell me about when he was young. Him and his friends would get together and build ramps and ride. He cant ride anymore so I ride for him. Photo: @nicktellezphoto
WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST MOMENTS/ACCOMPLISHMENT OF 2014?
My family and I traveled to Tucson AZ which was a 14 hour drive from where I live. Being able to ride with the Peraza family was awesome. During the trip I also competed in the Recon Tour at Premises Park and I placed first.
Photo: @nicktellezphoto WHAT PART OF YOUR RIDING ARE YOU LOOKING TO IMPROVE MOST THIS SEASON?
I would like to fly higher and do more street and dirt jumps.
HAVE YOU HAD TO OVERCOME ANY CHALLENGES THAT MADE RIDING OBSTACLE AT TIMES?
I live in Hollister, CA and we only have a little skatepark here for me to ride at. It is hard to progress because the facility is not very good, so my parents and I are always traveling to new locations for me to ride at.
Photo: @nicktellezphoto WHAT IS YOUR DAILY ROUTINE AND HOW DO YOU PREPARE YOURSELF FOR A DAY OF RIDING?
I get up for school in the mornings and after school you can always find me at the skatepark riding with my friends.
Photo:@nicktellezphoto WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT FEW YEARS? I would like to be a Professional BMX athlete one day and help kids make their dreams come true.
WHO WOULD YOU LIKE TO THANK?
I would like to thank God for keeping me safe when I ride and also Robbie Morales at Cult Crew, Ryan Guettler, Monster Army, and of course my family for always believing in me. Follow Andrew: Monster Army-andrewbmxlife |
