The Goldman Games presented by Monster Energy will put forth a new contest format that encompasses great riding as well as excellent filming and editing! Riders and videographers will assemble at the Goldman Compound for an exciting selection process that will create teams of approximately six riders and one videographer. The teams will have until Saturday night at 6:00pm sharp to film and develop the best 3-5 minute themed edit possible. The location for filming is open to all of Bend, including the local downhill trails, XC loops and jump lines. Saturday night after all the edits are submitted, a viewing session will commence and riders will vote on the overall best edit. Other awards include “Top Clif Bar Shot” and “Pinkbike Best Clip”.

The Monster Energy Best Trick Jam will kickoff Friday night and the teams are encouraged to film and use footage from the Jam in their edits. Best Trick will be professionally filmed and posted on Pinkbike for online voting until Saturday night at 6:00pm. In addition to overall Monster Energy Best Trick, riders will have a good chance to receive cash at the end of their runs for impressing the judges. There may also be a chance to sneak some awesome parts from Deity Components.

The main purpose of this new format is to bring in a natural approach to a mountain bike competition that encompasses many disciplines. Bend Oregon is known as a mountain bike mecca where riders of all ages and levels can challenge themselves. While preserving the competitive atmosphere pro and some select amateur riders will have a true chance to showcase their mountain bike skills and passions, anyway they desire.

Video from Best Trick will be uploaded to Pinkbike following the Best Trick
Competition.
Online Voting will be open from Saturday morning until 6:00pm on Saturday to
select the winner.
