Welcome, Trevor! Hope all is well. How has the off-season been treating you?

It’s been a great off-season with lots of swells throughout the winter. I got to travel with the ESA All-Star team to Hawaii.

Right on. A trip to the North Shore sounds like a good chance to get some off-season training in to stay sharp. How did that trip go?

It was insane! There were huge waves on Oahu the whole time we were there. It was awesome to surf Pipeline, Sunset, and all the other breaks on the North Shore. I pushed my limits in some big conditions.

Last year, you came away with Huge wins at ESA Easterns championship and the ASF Championhips. A great way to end the season, yeah?

It was an awesome ending to a great year.

Right on! Seems like the training is paying off. starting the 2017 season off with some wins at ASF and ESA events. Safe to say you are feeling good on the board?

Yeah, my boards have been working well and I’m ready for the contest season.

Which event are looking forward to the most this year?

I’m really looking forward to the O’Neil Pro in Wrightsville Beach. This contest is always a lot of fun because a bunch of friends from up and down the east coast come to my home-break, and it’s cool to surf with everyone.
