Jordan, we are pumped to have you as this
week’s athlete of the week!
It looks like you’ve have had a super
busy year. What are some of the highlights so far 2017?
Wow, there have
been many highlights again this year! I would say my 2nd Place
at LL with a couple moto wins in the Women’s class was something to remember.
Definitely being at Monster Cup again this year and being asked to do press
day, was amazing and such a great opportunity. The Arenacross Series and Mini O’s are also some highlights for me.
What about 2018? Any big plans for next year?
Well, 2018 is
going to be a big year for me. Mini O’s was my last ride on mini bikes
and I am going to be racing a YZ 250F in 2018. I have started to prepare
physically, mentally and getting in some seat time for the 2018 Arenacross
Series. I am really excited for the new year and all it has in store for
me. I believe this is my year!!
If you could go back four years and give your younger self some advice, what
would it be?
I would say not
to listen to the haters, unfortunately, no matter who you are, there will always
be haters that are jealous of either what you accomplish or what you
have. I would also say have fun, that’s important, and not to
worry. Do not let the little things discourage you!
What are you usually up to when you're
not riding?
School! I
still attend public school and it keeps me very busy. When I am not in
school during the week, I work out and homework. Typically, I only have
weekends and holidays to practice unless we are headed to a race. I try
to find some time to hang out with my friends as well.
What’s your go to flavor of Monster after a long day of riding at the track?
Oh that is a
tough one…. I love most of the Monsters, but I would say my go to flavor
would be one of the Rehabs. I think the Pink Lemonade Rehab is my
favorite.
Thanks for catching up with us! Any final words you’d like to add?
I just want to
thank everyone who has stood behind me and believed in me. I couldn’t
have done any of this without my Mom and Dad, who have supported my career
choice and sacrificed so much for me. I love you Mom and Dad.
Thank you
Monster for the opportunity to represent such a great company with great
products and employees.
