What's up, David!? How has your winter/spring been treating you?

Hey Tim! My winter has been a little slow but we've had a couple good days here in Cali.

First off, How did you get into surfing?

I actually started surfing when I was five. For my 5th birthday, my dad decided to get me this little 5'10 INT foamie and I've been surfing ever since.

When did you start competing and which contests were your favorite to attend?

I started competing in SSS about 3 years ago. now I compete in WSA, NSSA and OHANA NALU surf series and my favorite contest is probably the finals of OHANA NALU surf series all the boys are there and it's just a blast.

Right on! So As a southern California local, Which surf spot would you call your favorite?

Haha that's a hard one Tim there are so many different waves here in southern Cali but the queen (Rincon) takes the cake for this one.

What are your plans for the rest of the year, both inside and outside of competition?

This summer I plan to attend a 5 week outdoor wilderness sleep away camp and after that I'll be in Costa Rica for a week and surfing all up and down the coast for the rest.

Favorite tunes to bump before a morning surf session would have to be…

For sure ACDC it always pumps me up and hypes me up no matter what the conditions
