Liquid Force heard we had some of our amateur moto riders in town and were instantly onboard! They brought out their Malibu team boat and hooked us up with Tilly’s Marine for their 2014 Malibu Wakesetter!

We even got one of Monster Energy’s first wake boarders, Shane Bonifay, out to coach for the day! Not to mention wakeboard OG Aaron Grace. Did I forget to say that Kawasaki rocked up with 4x300hp jet skis??

Most of the guys had some wake boarding experience but were all pretty sketchy! After some gnarly bails and face plants the guys all got the hang of riding and even hit the wake surf and skate! Even Ryan Holiday got up and shredded on the wake surf! Shane Bonifay put some moves down which can only be described as terrific! Be it wake boarding or surfing, Bonifay kills it!

At any point you could look out on the lake and spot a jet ski stacked with 3 dudes going full throttle trying to roost either the boat or the other jet skis! Things got real close when Gage Schehr tried to ride up the back of Preston Mull’s ski…

One thing for sure after today is that there’s gonna be some wake boards in the Christmas stockings this year!

3 packed days and the guys were looking a little less energetic than earlier in the week… But all pumped for the 5 am call to head out to the infamous Ocotillo Wells!
