Once again the Monster Army prevailed at the Thor Winter
Olympics securing over 15 championships throughout the week.
Darian Sanayei came out swinging with championship wins in
both 250 and 450 pro sport classes. Coming off an overall 2
nd at
Monster Energy Cup in October hopefully this is the start of a dominant season
ahead…
Andy Kost also put in a stellar performance in both SX and
MX with 2 championships in each. Andy is always a contender for championships
and has killed it all year.
Garrett Marchbanks and Austin Forkner also took
home SX championships in the Supermini and 450 B classes.
Unfortunately the weather took a turn and the SX racing got
postponed due to flooding. The next morning the MX track was prime, the event crew did
an incredible job in getting the track right to race.
MX saw Austin ‘Farmboy’ Forkner rise to the challenge,
taking home 3 MX championships and one in SX. Forkner is a freight train headed
straight for success!
Cameron Cannon also had a terrific week racing. With the
help of Matt Walker at the Moto-X Compound he pulled nearly every holeshot of
the week. Cannon went on to take the Schoolboy 1 championship in MX.
Congrats to Brook Whipple on taking an overall 2nd and the Olympiad
award in Womens 14+ class. There are few riders out there who race with as much
heart and passion as Brook.
Jordan Bailey looked great on the Kasawaki machine, he will
definitely be a dominant rider in the near future!
We want to wish a speedy recovery to Tristan Miller who had
a gnarly crash on Saturday but we hear he is soldiering on! Get well soon
