The World Surf League’s Hawaii Junior Qualifying Series tour came to an end this October with the Turtle Bay Resort Pro (an inaugural event that carries the weight of World Junior Championship qualification and the Regional Junior Champion title for the top under 18 surfers). 

15 year-old Gabriela Bryan (HAW) surfed her way through to the semi-finals in both the Hurley Surf Club Pro Jr & the Turtle Bay Resort Pro. Bryan only loosing her position in the race to the women's final round by a fraction of a point in the semifinals.
