Hey Brandon, how did 2018 round up for you?

2018 rounded up great for me! I skated some contests, met a bunch of new people, and had a lot of fun skateboarding in 2018

What do you have planned for the new year?

I’m currently recovering from a rolled ankle, but for 2019 I would like to just keep progressing and having fun on my board. I hope to skate a few more local contests this year and definitely stack as much footage and photos as I can!

Do you have a trip/contest planned for this upcoming year that you’re most excited about?

I’m currently most excited for the Kings of Harvard contest which they host in Irvine at the local park I grew up skating. I’m also really excited for the Collegiate Skate Tour contest hosted by CSEF later on this year!

Are there any pros that you look up to or that inspire you?

Some of my biggest influences at the moment are the skateboarders on Foundation. I really enjoy watching them skate the craziest rails as well as seeing their pure love for skateboarding.

Favorite thing to do when you’re not skating….

When I’m not skateboarding, I enjoy spending time with my family and girlfriend, shopping for shoes, and watching movies/Netflix.

Favorite food…

It would probably have to be between an In-N-Out burger or carne asada fries.

Favorite music…

I’m super into rap music! Travis Scott, XXXTentacion, and Kodak Black are definitely some go-to’s!

What does a typical day look like for you?

I’m currently a third year student at UCR so a normal weekday for me is to start off with a nice breakfast burrito and then head to school. Once I’m finished with my classes I generally try to skate for 1-2 hours everyday unless I have a shift at Vans. I usually end my day studying and preparing for the following day. On weekends, I usually go out and film with my friends one of the days and the other day I tend to work or study.

Any last thanks you or shout outs?

I’d like to thank Pablo at Active Ride Shop Tustin for always having my back, Mission Belt Co for the best belts, as well as everyone at Monster for everything! Also, shout out to my brother Brad for being my favorite person to skate with and thank you to all the people who have ever filmed Instagram videos for me haha
