On the Frontlines: Les Gets World Champs

We’re back on the road and this week we find our athletes in Les Gets, France for the UCI World Championships. Only the most prestigious athletes are selected to represent their country at this event. Rather than race in their normal gear, Athletes wear custom made jerseys that represent their country and its respective colors. Let’s find out how our athletes stacked up against the world’s best.

Ella Erickson and Andrew Driscoll shake the nerves off as they get ready to drop in for their qualifying runs.

Tyler Zenoni floats across the upper road gap in one of his practice runs. Not the weekend he would have wanted with a crash in his race run, but he’ll have plenty more chances in the future for some redemption.

Dante Silva stays smooth and consistent to finish the weekend with a 35th place against the best in the world.

Austin Dooley heads into the finish arena during his qualifying run with a performance that puts him comfortably into the finals. Come race day, Austin pushed his limits to finish 22nd in the world.

Andrew Driscoll had a weekend he will never forget! After having great practice sessions and building his confidence he was able to punch the clock with a time that put him into 10th place.

Ryan Pinkerton is no stranger to speed this year. After a grueling week of preparation and practice, He slots himself into 3rd place.

That’s a wrap on the 2022 mountain bike world championships in Les Gets, France! We’ll see everyone next week in Val Di sole, Italy for the world cup series finale.
