Rev Tour Kicks off Winter with a Podium

Author: Seth Hill

With back to back Rev Tour stops the opportunity for our athletes to shine was high! And that is exactly what they did! With a 3rd place finish from Lucas Foster and 5 of our athletes in Skiing the Monster Army was in full force at Copper Mountain this past week for the Rev Tour. The U.S. Revolution Tour has proved to be a progressive venue for today’s top junior riders to take the competitive stage. The Tour is designed to serve as a stepping-stone for athletes making the transition from competing at the grassroots level to the elite level, and trust us when when say that is no small feat. The U.S. Revolution Tour at Copper Mountain Halfpipe competition will be FIS NorAm sanctioned, and brought out an amazing field of athletes

For Snowboarding we had 2 Monster Army veterans Lucas Foster, and Jason Wolle, and two new 13-year-old to the program, Hayden Tyler and Brooklyn DePriest. All 4 of our athletes rode very strong, Lucas and Jason made it to finals in both Tuesday and Wednesdays events while Brooklyn landing his first ever back to back 900’s and Hayden showing he might be young but fits right in with the elite field of athletes. In the end Lucas Foster was the sole army rider to stand on the podium, but there is no doubt our team showed the we have what it takes!

On the ski side making her way into finals and putting down top to bottom runs all through-out the week was Hanna Faulhaber. For men we had 3 sergeants putting it all on the line and showing their stuff. Axl BonenbergerKai Morris, and Cael Mccarthy all came with the skills and tricks to stand on the podium but were unable to stomp their best runs. This is just the begging of the season and all our riders continually push them selves to ride at the top. Stay tuned for many more events and features about our snow athletes!
