Hey Trevor, how’s 2018 rounding up for you? 

It has been a super fun year for me. I got to surf the North Shore of Oahu at the beginning of the year and that was a blast! More recently though I went to San Clemente for one of the bigger swells this summer which was awesome, I got to surf lowers firing with a pretty light crowd. Definitely one of the most fun trips I’ve been on.

What do you have planned for the rest of the year?

I was supposed to be at ESA Easterns this week but we got hit by Hurricane Florence pretty badly and had to stay in town to help out. The rest of the year I am going to be surfing around home a good bit and taking as many Outer Banks trips as I can. This winter I’m going to Puerto Rico so I’m also super excited about that.

What are you most excited about next year?

I’m super excited to compete in some events and just travel as much as possible.

Do you have any contest rituals or superstitions?

I have a couple haha, I don’t know if they work to well, normally just listen to music before my heat and stretch out, just try to get in the zone and keep my mind clear.

If you could surf with anyone in the world, who would you want to surf with and where?

I would want to be at Skeleton Bay with my friends I grew up with, that would be super fun.

What do you think your favorite place you’ve traveled has been to?

My favorite place I’ve been to is Puerto Rico. The waves get super fun and everyone’s pretty cool. So many beautiful places there too.
