Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross - The Monster Energy Ricky Carmichael Daytona Amateur Supercross went down this past weekend where many of our own Monster Army athletes landed themselves on the podium. This is the 5th annual Daytona Supercross being held at Daytona International Speedway for the biggest two-day amateur super cross event in the world.
Let's start with the 450 A/Pro Sport where Keith Tucker landed on the podium with a prestigious 2nd place finish. Keith followed that up with another 2nd place finish in the 250 A/Pro Sport. Zachary Bishop-Burnett was not far behind and ended up in 7th place overall. Next up Jacob Grzebinski had an amazing showing in 3 different divisions. He took home 1st place in 450 B, 3rd place in 250 B, and another 1st place in College (16-24). Jacob is having a very impressive year and we can't wait to see what the future holds for him. In the 250 All Star A/B Zachary Bishop-Burnett had another good showing ending up in 6th overall, and close behind in 7th position was Will Markolf. Multiple Monster Army athletes had a good showing in the Super Mini (12-16) and it was Austin Forkner who came out on top. Right behind him was Cameron Cannon and Joey Crown rounding out the podium. Max Markolf took home the 4th place position and Tanner Stack finished in 5th. 13 year old Brock Papi had an awesome weekend taking home 3 podium finishes. He started off in the Mini Sr. (12-14) taking home 2nd place. He then took home 1st place in both the 85cc (12-13) and 85cc (9-13). Brock has amazing talent at such a young age and the future is in his hands. Congratulations again to all of our Monster Army Moto Athletes!
