Hi Alex! How has your year been going so far?

Overall, the year of 2017 has been eventful. I ended up tearing my meniscus earlier in the year so that affected a lot of events. Other than that, it's been great - been working on a lot of films and trips and it's going to be a great summer.

You also got picked up by Sticky Bumps & NME Surfboard’s, is that correct?

Yeah, Alan at NME is an amazing person and it was great to become a part of the team. The best surfboards out in the market and the best deal. Sticky Bumps was awesome as well. My team manager there is the sweetest human being you’ll ever meet.

Where are some of your favorite spots to surf?

I like to surf Ponto and Pipes. They are extremely different from each other and that's what I love. If I'm not feeling the fast paced wave at Ponto i'll head over to pipes for a slower, fuller wave.

What does a typical day in the life of Alex look like?

Well usually I'll get up around 7 and surf for a couple of hours with my friends. Then, I'll go film a YouTube video for my channel (Alex Warren). It pretty much consists of my friends and I doing crazy stuff. The evening will be either a party or the movies with my friends.
