1. Bruce Klein! What a year it's been for you. Can we start things off with a quick recap of your last season?

Whats up! Yeah, it has been a pretty good year of racing. It all started out a bit rough early in the year as I wasn't quite getting the results I wanted. I managed to learn from each race and improve into some better results to finish the season strong. Really happy to have grabbed the Overall Championship for the National Pro GRT Series as well as finish top 20 at World Championships in Australia!

2. What accomplishment from last season are you most proud of?

I would probably say finishing 20th at Worlds this year. I would have liked to do better but it was still a good weekend for me and being in Australia was awesome. I really enjoy that place so it was cool to race there and do well.

3. What do you have planned for next year?

I have some big plans for next season, some of which I can't say yet so keep an eye out for news coming soon! Going to be focusing mainly on the World Cup series but I will compete at some Crankworx events and a few local races as well.

4. What's a typical day like for you when your at a race?

A typical day out at the races for me is usually a pretty fun time! Depending on the race, we have some varying schedules, but they are all somewhat similar. I usually wake up pretty hungry so I always start my days out with a big breakfast, most important meal of the day haha! I then do some stretching or foam rolling to wake up and get the body loosened up then head out to the venue. First thing I usually do once I am at the pits is a quick look over my bike to make sure everything is working well and ready to go. I hit the spin bike, do some movements to warm up, and jam out to some tunes to get the mind and body fired up to shred. Practice for a few hours to get all my lines dialed in and know how the course conditions are playing out. There are usually a lot of fellow racers out together laughing and having a good time in between runs so there is a bit of banter between everyone but its always a good time. After practice I'll wash the bike, do some cool down spinning and stretching, then hang out with some homies in the pits. Once I head back to the house/hotel I'll do a lot of mental training, such as go through practice runs in my head and prepare for the race. Oh and of course eat a bunch of food for dinner haha.

5. What about when your not racing and your back at home, what's your program like then?

Once I'm home and not training I usually hang out with some friends and just have a good time. Being at the races can put a lot of stress on your mind so its nice to just relax at home and de compress. I really enjoy riding my bike and staying fit so I do a lot of physical activities with friends such as ride the moto, hit the rock climbing gym, or even just a few fun rides.

6. What kind of advice can you give to younger riders out there just getting into the sport?

Biggest thing for the young ones is to really have fun but push yourself within your limits. For kids who really want to compete at races and progress in the sport, it is important to reflect on yourself and figure out what to work on. Whether it be cornering, braking or how to jump, practice what you need to work on but enjoy it. Enjoy the process of learning and do it all while having fun.

7. If you could ride anywhere in the world right now where would it?

Man, if I could be anywhere right now I would probably head out to New Zealand. I haven't been there before but the riding looks super rad and there are a ton of shredders out there!

8. Thanks for the chat! can't wait to see what you bring to the table in 2018. Are there any final words you would like to add?

Thank you guys for the awesome support! Keep an eye out to see the news unfolding soon, big things are happening for next year! YEW!
