Logan Martin Wins The Monster Army Recon Tour PRO Event And Chase Pauze Wins The AM At The Kitchen Park

Monster Army Recon Tour 2015: The Kitchen - More BMX Videos

Solana Beach, Calif. – May 5, 2015 – The first Recon Tour PRO event took place this past weekend at The Kitchen Park in South Bend, IN which is home of the legendary Brett Banasiewicz. The competition field was stacked with some of the best BMX riders from around the world, but in the end Logan Martin walked away with the win and $5k. In a close second was up and coming professional and Monster Army Major Colton Walker who took away with $2.5k and in third place was Rob Armour who earned $1k. With such a talented group of riders along with a wide variety of ramps, it was no doubt that this contest would provide riders with the perfect platform to showcase their riding and an unbelievable amount of progression. Nick Bruce did just that when he unleashed the worlds first ever flair windshield wiper, which then went viral all around the Internet and on social media. “When we first set out on the mission of the Recon Tour we always had the dream of turning this into a PRO event and giving the amateurs a platform to progress into the PRO ranks. It is an amazing feeling to watch this happen first hand and also see world first tricks performed at the Recon Tour” - Robby Burleson Recon Tour Manager.

Chase Pauza earned his way into the PRO event by qualifying in on Saturday at the Recon Tour AM event. Chase impressed the judges with his massive transfers and effortless style combined with plenty of bar-spin and tail whip combinations. Following close behind Chase were Jacob Bailey and in third was the young 14-year-old Bryce Tryon, both traveling all the way from California. All three athletes now have the opportunity to compete in any of the Recon PRO events the remainder of the year. Please go to www.therecontour.com to see a complete list of results.
