Author: Cam Davis

We sat down with Jaxin to catch up with him on his past season last week when he was here at Monster HQ

How do you feel the 2016 Ski season went for you?

I am pretty happy with my 2016 season. I reached a few of my ski life goals with an invite to the Dew Tour in Breckenridge and X games in Oslo, Norway where I was the youngest male skier in both events!

What are your plans and goals for the upcoming season?

I am working towards the goal of the 2018 winter Olympics in PyeongChang South Korea. I will be spending the season training and competing and am hoping to have some invites again to the big events....Dew Tour, X games, as well as some World Cup starts. I want to stay healthy, land some bigger tricks, and continue to have fun while traveling the world.

Who are your biggest influences?

David Wise, Duncan Adams, my parents

What are some of your recent accomplishments?

I finished my ski season ranked 18th in the world for halfpipe and just recently landed a dub 12. So I am pretty stoked on that.

What are some tricks you're working on?

Dub cork 12 and alley oop dub flat 7

What other sports do you do in the off season?

Dirt biking, mountain biking, surfing and kayaking

Current Setup?

Volkl Wall, Marker jester pro, Dalbello il moro , Dragon X1, Wend wax - red

Favorite Spot to Ski and why?

Breckenridge Colorado, its home turf and I know where the goods are! Ha ha plus Breck has the best parks and pipe in the world. I focus a lot of time in the halfpipe, but love to ski big mountain and slope days as well.

If you could invent a flavor of Monster, what would it be?

Sweet and sour cherry/lime deliciousness

Monster is my path to being majestic

Who would you like to thank?

My sponsors, my family, my coaches, and my friends
