Monster Army Surf Sergeant, Spencer Bridges, recently competed in the NSSA Nationals Surfing Championships in Huntington Beach, California. Spencer has been working very hard this winter, going on training trips to Hawaii, Australia, Costa Rica, and Ireland. He surfed a total of 16 heats while competing in California in the NSSA Nationals, USA Championships, and Volcom TCT World Championships. He was able to make three national finals! His final placements at the NSSA Nationals were 5th place in Explorer Mens Shortboard, and 2nd place in Open Longboard, and 3rd place in Explorer Longboard. This summer Spencer plans to compete in the WRV Outer Banks Pro, ECSC Pro Junior, and the Belmar Pro!
