The USASA Skiing Nationals took place this past week at Copper Mountain, CO and the Monster Army team was able to walk away with a handful of medals once again.

Svea Irving (little sister to Monster Army Major Birk Irving) was able to double podium with a gold in Women's Open Slopestyle and a silver in women's Open Halfpipe. She was also awarded the best trick and seems to be following in her brother's footsteps. We look forward to working with her in the future. Both Caroline Claire and Ben Smith respectively took the win in the women's and men's rail jam.

Captain Ethan Swadburg was awarded a silver medal in men's slopestyle and Sierra Bowman took a bronze medal in women's halfpipe and Dylan Ladd claimed gold in U15 halfpipe.  It's safe to say that Monster Army made a presence at the Nationals in 2016 taking home a total of 7 medals.
