Windham Miller is Athlete of the Week

Whats up, Windham!! You took home some solid results at rev tour stops as well as DC hit and run, this year. Tell us how your season went, as a whole?

My competition season went pretty well! I got a top 10 finish at the waterville rev tour, a top 15 at the mammoth rev tour and 7th place at the DC Hit and run in Whistler.

You also went to superpark and The Launch. Those must have been a blast, yeah?

Yeah! I’ve been going to those snowboarder mag events the past few years and they’re always the most fun events of the season! I always end up with tons of footage and photos that end up being featured on snowboarder’s website.

You mentioned that you did a bunch of filming over the course of the season. Could you go into a little more detail on that?

I spent most of my season filming my first full part for “10 Days Off” a short movie where me and my friend Ryan Wachendorfer get away from the park and pipe seen and push ourselves to film an entire part only in the streets and backcountry. Most of it is filmed in my home town of Vail, Colorado but I also got the chance to go film in new places like Montana, Utah, British Columbia and California. I got to travel, film and snowboard in places I’ve never been before while also expanding my view of the place that Ive lived my entire life.

Out of all the places you’ve traveled, where is your favorite place to snowboard?

My favorite place to snowboard has got to be Whistler, B.C. The terrain and scenery is absolutely insane. I spent two weeks there this season and every day was ether a bluebird park day in one of the best terrain parks in the world or a foot and a half pow day.

Windham's Favorite tunes to jam to on the hill would have to be….

My favorite tunes to listen to while riding would be, Led Zeppelin, Kodak Black, Metallica, Azizi Gibson, Pink Floyd, WDL and Black Sabbath.
