U.S. FreeSki team member and Colorado native, Riley Jacobs, is notorious for her style and agility both on the slopes and in the halfpipe. In this episode of ‘BATTLE READY,’ you will get to experience first-hand what it’s like to compete in, train at, and get ready for one of the biggest competitions of the year: the 2023 Toyota U.S. Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain, California.

Although there is something to be said about every Grand Prix, the competition at Mammoth is quite special due to it being the last domestic tryout event of the year, providing a pathway towards qualifying for the 2023 U.S. Olympic Freeski teams.

For Riley, the Monster Army recruit who just came off a stellar finals debut at the Calgary World Cup, she knew a shot at the Women’s Halfpipe Podium in Mammoth meant maintaining focus, playing it safe, and throwing down some heavy runs. Let’s GO, Riley!
