2013 Miss Monster Energy Cup Finalist : Chloe Jacks
We got a special surprise visit from the top 3 finalists from Miss Monster Energy Cup 2013 yesterday at Monster HQ. It just so happens that Chloe is actually a reserve in the Monster Army and has been racing motocross since she was in 4th grade. We sat down with her for a minute and we got the chance to ask her a few questions about life, modeling, and motocross.
How does it feel to be selected as a top 3 finalist in the Miss Monster Energy Cup 2013?
-It feels, amazing. The feeling is so surreal and I can’t believe I am getting this opportunity of my dreams… I am so thankful and blessed!
How has the experience been so far getting to travel to the Monster HQ?
- The experience as a whole is just awesome. I have met these beautiful, sweet other girls and we are just having a really great time! It is my first time to California and for only being able to come here for 2 days, those 2 days have made me never want to leave. I love it here.
Tell us a little about your background. You also ride and race motocross correct?
-A little bit of background on me, I am from Chattanooga TN, I am 20 years old. I come from a big family, mom, dad, 3 sisters, a pet pig, and 3 dogs, and my kitty. I go to school at Chattanooga State majoring in teaching!
Yeah! I have raced motocross since I was in about 4th grade and still race to this day. My dad grew up around racing and he really influenced me greatly. My mom was strongly opposed against it at first, but now she is all about women’s racing and promoting it through our team “Chix Mx”.
Are you still currently competing and how often?
-Yes, I try to compete as much as I can while going to school full time, getting my college degree in teaching, and of course…pursuing my dream of becoming a monster Energy Girl!!
What does an average day for you consist of?
-Oh gosh, the average day for me is usually waking up 5:30, taking my dog out, getting ready for school, come home from school, studying, working, and riding!! Somewhere in between I like to watch Degrassi as well!
What got you into motocross, and what got you into modeling?
-Like I said, my dad impacted my riding a lot, and my mom probably got me into modeling!
Which one do you like better?
-That’s a tough one to actually pick…I love modeling a lot! But motocross is awesome as well! They are both my favorite hobbies, but I would love to turn modeling into a career and keep riding a hobby.
