BUDAPEST, (July 23, 2010) – Monster Energy’s newly-signed flatland BMX specialist, Hungarian Adam Kun, was just crowd the world’s top athlete in his sport – winning this past weekend’s BMX Masters in Cologne.

The 24-year-old college student joins Monster as the SoCal-based beverage company’s first flatland BMX rider – America or Europe.

“I’m pumped to be on board with Monster and look forward to representing with them in the street and at BMX events all over Europe,” said Kun. “I drink Monster and have for some time, so for them to approach me with a sponsorship was unreal. I’m really into the Monster product and can honestly say to people how good it is.”

Born and bred in Satoraljaujhely, Kun cut his flatland teeth on the BMX on basketball and tennis courts around his town. A former runner-up at the BMX Masters in Cologne, Kun’s also won a number of junior championships on his bike.
