Hey Jairus, tell us a bit about yourself!

I’m 20 years old, I was born and raised in Atlanta, I love my family and friends, and I started skating when I was 10 and haven’t really been able to stop since. It’s all love on this end!

How’s has 2018 been kicking off for you?

So far 2018 has been pretty straight. I’ve skated a few contests and am doing a lot more street skating now. I’ve also learned a lot of new stuff this year for new combinations of tricks. I’m excited to see how the rest of this year is going to play out.

What has been the highlight of the year so far?

I learned how to do boneless finger flips and was actually able to stick one in a contest run. It’s not really that big of a deal, but it got my friends and I stoked. That entire day was just a all-around good day. Shout out to Drizzy for that Sesame Contest!

Do you have any skate trips or projects planned for this year?

Well, I’m planning on taking a trip to New York this summer with my filmer, Hilton. Him and I have both been wanting to make that trip for a while now. I think it’d be cool to venture out and get some clips in a different city. It’d also be really cool to go to Cali because I’ve never been there.

If you could skate with anyone in the world, who would you want to skate with and where?

Ahhhh, haha. That would definitely have to be either Ishod Wair or Zion Wright. They're both so diverse when it comes to tranny and street and I feel like I would be able to learn a lot from them.

Where’s your dream skate spot?

Probably MACBA or those big black hubbas in NYC.

Favorite thing to do when you’re not skating…

Either trying out new restaurants, finding to things to do around the city with my friends, or camping/hiking at state parks.

What are you usually jamming to when you skate?

That’s a hard one because it’s never really consistent. Some days it’s Tame Impala, some days it’s Migos, or some days it’s Led Zeppelin. It really just depends on the day and the mood. You might even catch vibing out to some Jazz or some Classical when I’m trying to keep my temper under control hahaha

Favorite flavor of Monster…

It’s all about that OG Regular. That’s always been my favorite.

Any last thanks you or shout outs?

Oh but of course! Big S/O to Momz and Pops for the gift of life and providing me with everything I needed. S/O to all the OG hoodward homies that helped me develop (Marlon, Alen, Dino, Devon, Travis G, Warren D, Smokey, and of course OG Shane Harrison! S/O to Pretty Gang and all those boys! S/O to BC for making the best shop decks to ever exist and to Monster Energy for even giving me this opportunity. Last, but not least, a real fat shout out to my people Hilton Lemaster and Lilly Manseill for all the filming, photography, and editing they’ve assisted me with. Much love to everyone, you guys are sick and were all going to achieve success and greatness together!
