Monster Army

Athlete of the week: Tyler Rosa

Name: Tyler Rosa
Hometown: Perris, CA
Age: 14

Monster Army hand selected Tyler Rosa to attend the Ricky Carmichael University this past Monday at Lake Elsinore, CA. It is safe to say that Tyler had an awesome time and will be something that he will remember forever. The day started off by eating breakfast with the Pro staff and being introduced to RIcky Carmichael himself. Tyler then was allowed to go practice and warm up on the same track that the National Championships were held just two days before. After warm ups the groups were broken down and Tyler then began training at different sections of the track. Before lunch Tyler was embraced with learning cornering skills and speed with RIcky Carmichael, jumps and straight a ways with Jeff Stanton, and not chopoping the throttle in corners from Ricky's mom who is a legend herself. At lunch Tyler and the rest of the students were able to ask the pros any questions that they could think of. After lunch they went straight back to the track where Tyler learned starting skills off the gate with Jeff Emig and more cornering and bike handling skills with Johnny O'Mara and Jeff Ward. Just when Tyler couldn't handle any more good news he was presented with a backpack full of gear and a graduation certificate presented by Ricky Carmichael himself. It is safe to say that Tyler had an amazing time at the Ricky Carmichael University.
