Straight from Wanaka, New Zealand to the Monster Energy team, 19-year-old Rocco Jamieson is officially ranking up. We linked up with Rocco in Aspen and back home in NZ to celebrate his graduation from Monster Army to the big leagues.
Born to ride, Rocco started snowboarding at age 2 and was raised by two pro snowboarder parents, Deborah and Aaron Jamieson. Coached by his dad (a former NZ national champ), Rocco has spent the last few years rewriting what's possible on a snowboard.
Career highlights:
2nd place at the FIS Big Air World Cup in Chur, Switzerland (2024)
Bronze in his X Games debut at Aspen 2025 with the frontside 1800 Bloody Dracula grab
Silver at X Games Aspen 2026 with a stomped triple cork 2160 nose grab
Selected to represent New Zealand at the 2026 Winter Olympics
Inventor of the "Rubix Flip," a multi-axis rotation all his own
From watching X Games at home in NZ to taking the podium in Aspen, this is just the beginning. Welcome to Monster Energy, Rocco.
